Since 2016, our Open Call/Prize has promoted a vast range of national and international artists and partnering with several art professionals, enhancing the selected artists’ profile.
This year's edition will select one winning artist for an exhibition at D Contemporary Gallery from 3rd to 8th of October 2022, and fifteen artists that will win a permanent online exhibition at The Cult House platform and the chance to participate in several activities (i.e., art talks) from 15th of September.
The audience will have the chance to vote for their favourite artwork, and the selected work will be shown alongside the winning artist.

Entry Requirements:
- Sign up here for news and updates.
- Read all the information below carefully, and do not hesitate to contact us at info@theculthouse.co.uk
- Submit up to 5 artworks.
- A short bio 1up to 200 words maximum.
- Any links to your website, press and/or social media (if any).
- Images of works must be in jpeg, 300dpi not bigger than 2MB with artist name, the tittle of work, year, dimensions (in cm), medium, and sales price (£), with VAT and commission included in the final price (see the section Upon Selection).
- All mediums accepted.
- All submitted artworks must be available for sale at the time of the exhibitions.

Awards & rewards
All entrants will receive:
- A basic membership subscription of The Cult House online Collective Artists Gallery. For more information about the collective membership benefits, click here.
The winning artist will receive:
- An exhibition at D Contemporary Gallery from 3rd to 8th of October 2022.
- A private View evening – with a drink's reception (RSVP strictly required).
- Curation, support, and marketing coverage.
- Promotion of the event on The Cult House and D Contemporary Gallery websites and social media channels. More than 100k viewers worldwide.
- Digital and limited printed catalogue
- A unique article in The Cult House Periodic.
- A Q&A event

The selected Artists will receive:
- A permanent online exhibition on The Cult House website from 15th of September.
- Talks and online special events during the exhibition period in September.
- Exhibition design, support, and marketing coverage
- Possibility to have your artwork exhibited at the winner exhibition in October. The audience will be invited to vote on their favourite artwork from 15th to 21st September. The results will be announced on the 26th of September.
- FULL Membership subscription at The Cult House online Collective Artists Gallery, which includes a 1h30min Consultancy/advisory session. For more information about the collective membership benefits, click here.
- At least one of the winners/selected artists will gain representation at Runway Gallery.
Upon selection
- There will be a 35% commission fee of any sales made during the exhibition and on any sales made in the three months after the exhibition by us or in any direct connection with IT'S ART Call 2022 – prize.
- We shall be entitled to agree to a discount of up to 10% on the sales price.
- Any discount above this amount may only be agreed upon with the Artist's permission.
- The Artists are responsible for the artwork's transportation and insurance when applied.
- The copyright of all artworks exhibited are the property of the artist. Still, as a condition of entry, we have the right of free reproduction of the works in connection with the Prize on literature, website, videos for marketing purposes.
- We can confirm that we adhere to the Data Protection Act 1998 and that your personal data will only be used in connection to the Prize and will not be transferred to any third party.

Mara Alves - is a Portuguese fine artist, art curator and director of art projects, currently studying an MA in Art History, Curatorship and Renaissance Culture at The Warburg Institute in London.

Saskia Jiggens - is an art historian, writer and cultural strategist based in London. She is currently the Head of Communications and Engagement for Kensington + Chelsea Art Week.
