I’m a self-taught artist with an eye for detail!  During the 90s, whilst working for a record company I drew portraits for some famous musicians and latterly in 2016, following redundancy, I finally made the decision to become a full-time artist.

I have a distinct illustrative style packed with fascinating minutiae, created with the aid of a fruitful imagination.  I have been influenced by quirky architecture, fascinated by incredible trees and inspired by Tolkien, E. H. Shephard and Escher to name but a few.

The concept is to stimulate the imagination of the viewer by designing a visual story for their interpretation.

I have an interest in encouraging young people to explore their own creativity especially as art is very much a back-seat passenger in education at the moment.  I have published a book, entitled “Use Your Imaginaria!”, with this in mind to help kids realise their natural potential.

I work with fine-tipped archival-quality ink pens often with a magnifying glass to capture minute detail.  Larger works can take around 120 hours to complete and everything is drawn by hand.
