Sandra is a French artist, based in London. She is a colourist, with a preference for vibrant pigments and contrast of textures to create atmospheric canvases. She started painting in 2011 and has now a catalogue of over 270 original canvases, many of them have been sold to art lovers who value the emotional bond between her creations and their inner feelings.
Varnishes, inks, crackle, powdery pigments and flakes of metal are her favourite mediums to create energetic, flowing artwork. She can be inspired by Master Hokusai's Japanese compositions, or Albert Marquet , Odilon Redon and Paul Gauguin.
Sandra participated and exhibited in The Cult House Collective, Wandsworth Artists Open Studio yearly event, Flux Exhibition, Grid Art Fair, Anemoi, etc...
Following inspirational travels to Latin America, Madagascar and Asia, Sandra donates 10% of the proceeds of her sales to WaterAid, which works in 38 countries to help millions of people by improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene.
