I spent more than twenty years in the media industry working on entertainment programmes, talk shows, documentaries, a children’s novel, and ‘Warren Utd’, an animation for ITV.
But creating original and innovative art is my true passion.
In recent years I have moved into more ambitious work – digitally manipulating my own photographs to produce unusual works of art and installations on a variety of surfaces.
I now work out of Wimbledon Art Studios in South London as a full time artist.
My latest work celebrates the beauty of the city through the shapes and outlines that define its landmarks and character. I am constantly searching for exciting new materials to print my art on. The current collection includes work on brushed aluminium, reclaimed wood, a 1930's window, as well as neon and L.E.D installations and an 'interactive' magnetic piece, where you can choose the arrangement of colours.
Michael is also one of the selected Artists of IT’S ART CALL 2017
