My stage name is Marcelo Andrade, I am a visual artist from Sao Paulo, professional since 2006 by SINAP-ESP/AIAP-UNESCO.
At the moment I have 3 major body of work: Spectrum Art; Looks Art and Suture Art.
Working with oil paint, mirror, surgical wires, and metals: copper, aluminium, bronze, silver, gold.
I am a member of the National Union of Plastic Artists of Sao Paulo (SINAP-ESP);
AGAV - Association Goiana de Artes Visuais;
AIAP-UNESCO - Association Internationale des Arts Plastiques - UNESCO, based in Paris (France).
I lived for 5 years in Florida, United States where I was part of 4 art entities: Art Center Sarasota; Pinellas Park Art Society, where I won my first international award; Gulf Coast Artist's Alliance; Morean Arts Center.
I was one of the winners of the "New Values in Plastic Arts" award in the category oil painting, realized by Fundacao Jaime Camara in Goiania - Brazil in 2009.
Since 2006, I have participated in 13 collective exhibitions and held 6 individual exhibitions in a total of 19 exhibitions in Brazil, the United States and London.
I currently live in London where I participated in the exhibition "Brazil in Focus" held at the Embassy of Brazil in London in 2017.
