Born in Alexandria Dina grew up and studied in the UK
After a BSc Physics and Post-Grad Diploma in Mathematical Physics in Kings College, London University, she turned to history of art studies in the 90’s while doing free-lance work.
While working, she successfully completed an MA in Modern French Studies (Birbeck, London University) with a dissertation entitled “Staging the Feminine in Balthus and Pierre Klossowski”.
After her PhD dissertation entitled “Hans Bellmer and the Experience of Violence” (UCL, London University) she turned to painting. Courses attended were at the Royal Drawing School, several others at The Slade, Heatherley’s and in Lyon France.
Her work are in private collections; Egypt, England, France and Kuwait.
