Andre Ruiz de Freitas aka Decolife,
natural from Brazil working and living in London is a self taught painter and sculptor, exploring and expressing on different media since very young age.
Painting on streets, festivals and being international represented by contemporary art galleries since 2010 with artworks at fairs, group shows and solo exhibitions.
He is respected for having a journey travelling many countries in Europe exchanging his art for tickets, food and accommodation, many times having no skills about local languages and using only drawings to communicate.
Decolife artworks are recognized by strong colours, powerful compositions and harmony.
Mostly paintings are acrylic on wood.
According to his life experiences the period of subjects vary, he has lived and painted recently about nature, religion, homelessness, mythology, social class and of course Brazilian popular culture.
