Amila Maestro
Amila Maestro is an entirely self-taught automotive artist.
He has created the world's largest and only art collection - EL COCHE - solely dedicated to the history and evolution of the motor car. Amila makes extraordinary automotive art with ordinary ball-point pen. He has been conferred with the prestigious title ‘World Master’ from South Korea for the uniqueness of the medium and theme.
Precision is his signature.
He has held solo exhibitions in many places including the University of Oxford. Amila was one of the 55 world-class automotive artists invited to participate in “Velocity: The Art of Motion”, largest ever automotive fine art exhibition held in the US at the Hopkins Center for the Arts in 2008.
Amila has a BSc. in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering. After gaining vast experience as a communications engineer, he started a solo career as a global online music educator in keyboards and piano in 2018. Amila Maestro lives in Sri Lanka.
